Hey, Does anyone know of any free sites that could be used to do a basic background check on someone?
I've suddenly got another "lost relative" that has popped up, but this one doesn't have the details right, so I want to check them out.

I think beenverified.com is one but I don't remember for sure. If it doesn't feel right chances are it isn't, but if you want to check it out, go for it.

If I have a long lost relative suddenly popping up asking me for money, they're not related to me.

They haven't asked for anything....yet. I just want to find out a little more about them before I decide anything.

I'm not sure, but couldn't the local police department help? They may charge but like I said, I'm not sure.
Edit: By the way, that tag is fucking hilarious!

Thank you. That is my standard greeting when meeting someone new.

The official McMullen protocol for "long lost relatives"
Rent/borrow a Benz
Pick up "relative"
Take them to a nice dinner
Drive to shitty part of town
Pull into an alley
Pull out .44
Instruct relative to, "go kick rocks" and peel off in a clowd of borrowed, expensive, German smoke.

same protocol as in oklahoma. except its not a benz, your relative might be someone you like, its catfish your eating, the part of town don't matter, and kicking rocks usually means selling meth
